About the race
The Run With Responders 5K is a community running event held at Windsor's Civic Terrace in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The race features a 5K run or walk along a scenic new route on the Riverfront Trail, passing landmarks like Dieppe Park, the Legacy Beacon, and Windsor Sculpture Park, before finishing at the Windsor Firefighters Monument. The event welcomes all participants, not just first responders, and includes additional kids' races (1 km and dash).
The course is supported by police, fire, EMS, and CBSA vehicles displayed in honor of local first responders. Participants receive finisher medals (limited to the first 400), t-shirts, and a massage coupon. Awards are given by age group and overall winners, with post-race refreshments provided.
