Run with Mae 2026
Run with Mae is a charity run and walk taking place in Brighton at Scranton Middle School, 8415 Maltby Road, Brighton, MI 48116, United States on September 20, 2026. The event offers both in person and virtual participation options.
Events include:
- 1 Mile Fun Run Walk
- 5K Run Walk
- Virtual 5K
- Free youth entries for age 10 and under for the 1 Mile and 5K
Registration opens May 22, 2026. Regular registration deadlines vary by event: some close August 15, 2026, while youth entries and the virtual 5K have later closing dates in September 2026. Posted registration fees include paid and free options; shirts are available for an additional cost.
Proceeds are allocated to two causes: 75% to Fund a Life and 25% to create care packages for families on the University of Michigan Mott Children’s Hospital pediatric oncology inpatient floor. Past care packages have included Visa gift cards for inpatient families. Organizers plan to include a registration spot for Be The Match.
The 5K and 1 Mile events will take place on the school track. There will be a raffle of multiple gift baskets after the event. There will not be an official timer for any of the events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
