Event Overview
The Run with Lions 5K is the 18th annual edition of this event, which was formerly known as Run with Eagles. It takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Cream Ridge Winery in Cream Ridge, New Jersey. The event features two distances: a 5K Run/Walk and a 1 Mile Fun Run. Over 150 runners and walkers typically participate each year.
Course & Charity
The course starts at the winery and goes through scenic central New Jersey horse country. Participants can run, walk, or push a stroller. Proceeds from the event support the Allentown (NJ) Food Pantry, which distributed a record number of food items in 2025. Additional donations go to the Trenton Rescue Mission and the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen. A food drive will also be held, asking participants to donate canned goods or other non-perishable food items.
Event Details
Awards are given to the top male and female finishers in the 5K, as well as to the top three in 10-year age groups. T-shirts are provided to participants. On-site amenities include live music. The organizing body is the Allentown Lions Club Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Registration prices increase on specified dates.
