About Run with Her
Run with Her is an annual community event held at McHugh Park in Windsor, Ontario. The event brings together participants for a morning of movement to benefit the Welcome Centre Shelter for Women & Families. This athletic gathering is held rain or shine and is open to walkers, joggers, and runners.
The event features the following distances:
- 5 km run or walk
- 1 km Kids Trot
The 5 km course follows the pathways of the Little River corridor, with both the start and finish lines located at McHugh Park. A hydration station is positioned along the route to assist participants during their run or walk. Participants in the 5 km event receive a Dri-Fit race shirt with their registration and an official medal upon crossing the finish line.
The 1 km Kids Trot is a dedicated exercise for children held within the boundaries of the park. In addition to the races, the event site hosts activities throughout the morning, including music, prizes, and presence from community partners.
Parking is available at McHugh Park, and additional parking can be found at the nearby WFCU Centre. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
