Run to Wine X Denbies Wine Estate
The event is a social trail run and walk around Denbies Wine Estate and the North Downs, starting from Dorking Station. The route passes through vineyard terrain and off-road trails, with outward and inward sections that include hilly stretches. Participants move as a group and walk the hills together.
The finish is at the Denbies winery, where participants are provided with stone baked pizza and a glass of English sparkling wine, followed by a guided wine tasting led by the Denbies team. In summer, the estate typically has a marquee, outdoor pizza ovens and a bar near the front of the property.
Logistics include a bag drop option left at the estate for those arriving by train, and free parking at the estate for drivers. As the event is held on trails, trail shoes are recommended. The run is planned to continue in wet weather rather than being cancelled for rain.
