10th Annual Run to End Addiction 5K

The 10th Annual Run to End Addiction 5K takes place at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. This event serves as a community gathering to address addiction and alcoholism affecting New England. Participants can choose between two primary event formats:

  • 5k
  • Virtual 5k

The course is open to both runners and walkers. Each participant receives several commemorative items, including a specialized event T-shirt, a medal, and a swag bag. Following the physical activity, the event includes a cookout featuring food and refreshments. Attendees also have access to various resources and activities, such as a 50 foot long inflatable obstacle course.

The event provides an opportunity to honor individuals lost to overdose. For an additional donation, participants can have a memorial sign placed along the race course featuring a loved one's name, photo, and story. These tributes are also shared on social media platforms to recognize those who have passed and to support families affected by life-controlling issues.

This initiative supports the work of Adult and Teen Challenge Massachusetts. This organization has provided long-term residential treatment, clinical counseling, and vocational training for nearly 60 years. Groups of 10 or more participants are eligible for a team incentive involving a registration promotion code. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
