Run to Educate 5k
Run to Educate is the 32nd Annual 5k event on August 7, 2026, held at the Bellefontaine High School Track, 555 E Lake Ave, Bellefontaine, OH 43311. The event includes a kids fun run and separate 5K run/walk categories for youth and adults. Walkers are welcome.
Distances:
- 400 m Kids Fun Run (age 10 and under)
- 5 km Run/Walk Youth (18 and under)
- 5 km Run/Walk Adult (19 and older)
Registration opens January 14, 2026. 5K registration closes July 17, 2026; Kids Fun Run registration closes August 6, 2026. Registrations after July 17, 2026 will not be guaranteed an event t-shirt. Race day registration is available. Registration fees listed are: kids free to enter with a shirt option for $8, youth 5K $15, adult 5K $25.
Awards are given to the overall top male and female finishers, with pies awarded to the top male and female finishers as a tie to the mathematical constant Pi. Additional awards go to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 9 years and under; 10 to 14 years; 15 to 19 years; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 and over.
