Run to Defeat ALS
Run to Defeat ALS is a charity 5K run/walk held on May 25, 2026 at Strasburg Franklin Park in Strasburg, Ohio. The event raises funds for ALS United Ohio and notes that there is currently no cure for ALS; treatments can help manage symptoms of this progressive disease.
The event offers a single distance: 5K. The registration fee for the 5K is $35. Pre-packet pickup is scheduled for May 23 at Cross Caffe, 201 2nd Street NW, Strasburg, OH. Race day packet pickup and on-site registration will be available at Strasburg Franklin Park, 4th St SE, Strasburg, OH.
Shirt options include Adult Small through X-Large. A $5 discount is available for a no-shirt option. T-shirt availability will be limited after May 10.
Awards are planned for the 5K with recognition for the top overall male and female finishers and top male and female in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
