The 38th annual Run Through the Vineyard offers 10K, 5K, and 2K courses through the hills of a Temecula vineyard. It's a fundraiser supporting local community projects. All participants get a finisher medal, t-shirt, and access to a post-race wine tasting.

Event Details

The 38th Annual Run Through the Vineyard is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026. It is organized by the Temecula Sunrise Rotary Club as a fundraiser for community service projects, including literacy programs, youth leadership training, and scholarships.

Distances

The event offers three courses:

10K
5K
2K

Participants can run or walk. The course takes place at the Maurice Car'rie Vineyard in Temecula, California, and goes through the vineyard, with several hills.

Schedule and Registration

Race day bib pickup and registration is available from 6:30 AM to 7:50 AM inside a barn at the race location. Pre-race day bib pickup and registration is available on Friday, April 24, 2026, at a Road Runner Sports store in Temecula from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Online registration closes on Friday, April 24, at 11:59 PM PST.

Awards and Amenities

Awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group for the 10K and 5K events. The award presentation begins after the 5K race. All participants receive a finisher medal and a t-shirt. There is free parking at the race venue.

Post-Race Activity

An after-party includes a 2-for-1 wine tasting at the Maurice Car'rie Winery from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
