About the race
The 38th Annual Run Through the Vineyard is held at Maurice Car’rie Vineyard in Temecula on April 25, 2026. The event is organized by the Temecula Sunrise Rotary Foundation and serves as a major fundraiser for community service projects, including literacy programs, youth leadership training, and scholarships for at-risk youth.
The course runs through vineyard terrain with several hills and repeated uphill and downhill sections. Distances offered include:
- 10K
- 5K
- 2K
Participants receive a finisher medal and a quality T-shirt. Awards for first, second, and third place in each age group are given for the 10K and 5K; the awards presentation follows the 5K. A two for one wine tasting is provided by Maurice Car’rie Winery on race day. Parking at the race location is free of charge. Bib pickup and pre-race registration are available the day before the event at Road Runner Sports in Temecula, and online registration closes the day before the race.
