38th Annual Run Through the Vineyard
The Run Through the Vineyard is a longstanding event held at the Maurice Car’rie Winery in Temecula, California. Now in its 38th year, the event is organized by the Temecula Sunrise Rotary Club to support various community initiatives such as literacy programs, youth leadership training, and scholarships. The course takes participants through the vineyard grounds, featuring hilly terrain surrounded by the hills and mountains of the Temecula Valley.
Participants can choose from three different distances:
- 10K
- 5K
- 2K
The 10K and 5K courses include awards for the first, second, and third place finishers in each age group. All participants across all distances receive a finisher medal and a T-shirt. On the day of the event, the winery provides a two-for-one wine tasting for attendees between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.
Registrations are available for individuals and teams, with specific discounts offered for groups of five or more members in the 5K and 10K categories. Bib pick-up is scheduled for the day prior to the race at a local sports shop in Temecula, though race day registration is also available on-site at the winery. Parking for the event is provided free of charge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
