Event Details
The Run the Vineyards - Valenzano 5K takes place at Valenzano Winery in Shamong, New Jersey. This event is the 10th annual edition. It includes a single 5K distance that participants can run or walk.
Course and Timing
The route goes around the vineyard and along country roads, finishing at the winery. It includes a short vineyard trail. The race is professionally chip-timed with instant results. Walkers and children are welcome, with a one-hour time limit requested for the safety of all participants.
Registration and Perks
Registration includes a custom tech shirt (options for Men's/Unisex, Youth, or Women's Tee). An upgrade to a Women's Racerback Tank Top is available for an extra fee. Participants receive a stemless wine glass with the event logo. Finishers aged 21 and over get a complimentary glass of wine. Awards are given to the top three overall and age group winners for females and males.
Post-Race and Logistics
An after-party features live music until noon and an on-site food truck. The winery's wine bar is open for additional purchases. Free downloadable photos are available from a professional photographer on staff. Finisher medals can be purchased. Packet pick-up is on race day from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM at the "Good Day for a Run" tent at the winery. The event is held rain or shine, with no refunds or deferrals. Spectators are welcome.
