Event Overview
The Run the Vineyards - Saddlehill Summer 5K takes place at the Saddlehill Winery in Voorhees, New Jersey. The property is a historic estate located approximately 12 miles from Philadelphia, featuring both a vineyard and a horse farm. This event is capped at 300 participants and supports the HEADstrong Foundation as its charity partner.
Course Information
Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Walk
The course follows a flat, cross-country style route across variety of terrain through the vineyard grounds. The 5K race is chip-timed with live-streamed results. Participants are kindly requested to complete the course within a one hour time limit. Water stations and course marshals are positioned along the route to assist participants.
Amenities and Rewards
Registered participants receive a custom tech shirt, with various style options available including men's, women's, and youth sizes. Each runner or walker receives a stemless wine glass featuring the event logo. Finisher medals are available for an additional fee. At the finish line, water and bananas are provided. Professional photography is available throughout the day, with photos made available for free download after the event.
Post-Race Activities
The event includes an after-party held on the winery grounds featuring live music and on-site food options. Participants aged 21 and over receive a complimentary glass of wine.
