Course, awards and on-site offerings
The race is a chip-timed 5K with instant results on a mostly paved course that includes about one mile through the vineyard and finishes through the vineyard. Awards are given to the Top 3 overall and to male and female age-group winners (14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, then every 10 years). On-site offerings include a complimentary glass of wine for participants, post-race live music until noon, beer from local breweries for purchase, a food truck, and a wine glass for all finishers. A custom tech shirt is included with registration; a women's racerback tank is available for a $5 upgrade. A souvenir finisher medal is optional for $8 online or $10 on race day. Water station(s) are on course and water and bananas are provided at the finish. The event operates rain or shine and lists no refunds or deferrals. Walkers are welcome with registration.
