Run the Vineyards - Jonathan Edwards 5K
The event is a chip timed 5K that starts and finishes at Jonathan Edwards Winery. The mostly paved course includes about one mile through the vineyard and finishes through vineyard grounds. Walkers and children are welcome; walkers must be registered and start behind runners for safety. A one hour time limit is kindly requested.
Post race offerings include a complimentary glass of wine for participants aged 21 and over, live music, beer available for purchase from local breweries, and a food truck on site. All finishers receive a stemless wine glass. A high quality custom tech shirt is included while supplies last with men's, women's, and youth sizes available; a women's racerback tank top is available for a small upgrade. A souvenir finisher medal is optional for an additional fee.
Other race services include free downloadable race photos from a professional photographer, a water station on course, and water and bananas at the finish. Awards are presented to the Top 3 overall and to age group male and female winners in standard age brackets, including 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, and continuing every 10 years.
