Run the Vineyards - Jonathan Edwards 5K
The Run the Vineyards - Jonathan Edwards 5K is a chip-timed 5K held at Jonathan Edwards Winery in North Stonington, Connecticut on May 31, 2026. The course is mostly paved and includes about one mile that passes through the vineyard, with the finish routed through vineyard grounds.
Awards are given to the top three overall finishers and to age-group winners for male and female categories (14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, then every 10 years). Results are available instantly after the race.
The event includes an after-party at the winery. All participants aged 21 and over receive one complimentary glass of wine. Beer from local breweries will be available for purchase and a food truck will be on site. Additional items and services include a Run the Vineyards stemless wine glass for finishers, a custom tech shirt in multiple sizes, an optional souvenir finisher medal for an additional fee, free downloadable race photos, a water station on course, and water and bananas at the finish.
The event is held rain or shine with no refunds or deferrals. Walkers are welcome and start behind runners. Packet pick-up is available on race day at the winery. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
