Run the Runway 5K and 2 Mile Walk, Johnstown PA
Run the Runway is an event at the Johnstown airport on August 1, 2026. The event includes a timed 5K run and an untimed 2 mile walk conducted on the airport airfield. The course passes by static display aircraft and gives participants access to areas of the airfield not typically open to the public. The event is presented in partnership with the Pennsylvania Air National Guard.

Online registration runs from May 15 until late July at a fee of $25 per participant. Participants who register after June 30 are not guaranteed an event T shirt. Paper registration will be available on the day of the event. All proceeds support Aerium, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on regional economic growth.
