Run the River 2026 is an in-person charity run in London on 16 September 2026. The event takes place at Potters Fields Park, Tooley Street, SE1 2UD, along the banks of the Thames and passes several well-known London landmarks. The organiser is Teach First - Events Team and the event is supported by headline sponsor IG. Registration opens 8 January 2026. Entry fees vary by date: through 28 February 2026 the price is £34 plus fees, from 1 March 2026 it is £40 plus fees, and from 1 September 2026 it is £44 plus fees. Runners are allocated into waves based on distance and estimated finishing time. There is a bag drop at the event village and race packs collected on the day for late sign-ups. Fundraising is linked to the event; the organiser describes the run as supporting work in disadvantaged schools and communities in England.
