About the race
The event starts at Pier 39 along the San Francisco Bay and follows a course that goes over the Golden Gate Bridge and through the Presidio. The route passes city and landscape views and includes sightings of wildlife and scenes of the National Monument and nearby parks.

All finishers receive a Golden Gate Bridge finisher medallion. Registrants receive a long sleeve, full color dry release race T-shirt. Aid and support are provided on course with water, first aid, Gatorade, and gel/Gu available approximately every 3 miles. The 5k entry notes that the racing bib must be worn for the duration of the event.
