Run the Land - East vs West
The event takes place on April 10, 2027 at Great Lakes Brewing, 2516 Market Avenue, Cleveland, OH. It is a hybrid, in-person running event organized by runners that supports Greater Cleveland charities.
Distances offered include:
- Full Marathon
- 20 Mile
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Virtual option
Aid stations are provided every three miles on the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and 20 Mile courses. Courses highlight Cleveland and nearby suburbs, are fully marked, have minimal road crossings, and require participants to stay on sidewalks and follow traffic laws as a rules of the road event. Timing is done with an RFID timing chip and RaceJoy GPS tracking for official finish times and off-course alerts.
Packet pick-up is available on Friday and Saturday; an early start option exists for Full Marathon and 20 Mile participants who pick up packets on Friday. Perks listed for participants include a new finisher medal for 2027, a pint glass, a $5 drink ticket valid at Great Lakes Brewing, a runner bib and timing chip, and aid stations along the course.
Charities are runner nominated and must be 501(c)(3) organizations. Participants may choose which listed charity receives their funds. Fundraising rewards include a shirt for $30 raised and a hoodie for $50 raised, with shirts and hoodies also available for purchase. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
