Event Details
The Run the Greenway event takes place on Sunday, May 3, 2026. This will be the event's 6th annual edition.
The in-person and virtual events are held to support Loudoun County non-profits.
Race Courses and Events
The main events take place on the Dulles Greenway, a privately owned toll road. The course is described as the only day participants can use the road without traffic.
The offered events include:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Kids Fun Run (800 meters)
- 5K Roll
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual 10K
There are also student categories for participants aged 18 and under for both the 5K and 10K distances.
Packet Pickup
Participants can pick up their race packets in person at the following times and locations:
- Friday, May 1, at =PR= Reston in Reston, Virginia.
- Saturday, May 2, at Loudoun Station in Ashburn, Virginia.
- Sunday, May 3, on race morning near the starting line.
Early pickup is recommended to avoid lines on race day.
