Run The Down

Run The Down is a community focused 10 km trail run at Dummer Down Farm in Dummer, England, taking place on 6 September 2026. The event is organised around the idea of running your own race and aims to provide a supportive, community-led running experience.

The course is off road and uses a mix of grass, gravel paths and farm tracks. The route is described as non-technical and will be clearly marked with marshals on duty. Results are chip timed and professional race photography is provided. Category and overall prizes are listed for finishers.

Race-day facilities include a finisher medal, a free drink from the local brewery, a limited edition racing sock as part of a supporter pack option, toilets, free parking and a bag drop. There is a water refill station, a coffee truck and a food truck, and an event village for gathering before and after the run.

The event is linked with MHAC (Mental Health Awareness Club) and a percentage of ticket sales will be donated to Mind. Entry places are limited to help manage the event experience. As this is a trail run, participants should expect uneven ground, changeable weather conditions and are advised to consider trail shoes if conditions are wet.
