Run the Caves

Run The Caves is an Ultra Trail Race held at Warsaw Caves Conservation Area in Ontario, about 25 minutes from Peterborough. Distances offered include 1 km Kids Run, 5 km and 10 km Walk/Run, 15 km Virtual Run, 25 km Half-Ultra, and 50 km Ultra. The course features sweet single-track, some sandy beach, a few gravel roads, and forested, limestone-plains scenery with wide lookouts over the Indian River valley—described as “forest bathing.” The event emphasizes a green, cup-free ethos, with park entry included for participants and a portion of fees donated to CMHA.
