Potential Hyrox Sim 2 - Peterborough, ON
This event is an unofficial HYROX simulation that reproduces 8 km of running and eight functional stations in the order of a standard HYROX race. It takes place on April 19, 2026 in Peterborough, Ontario at 701 The Queensway, Unit 5-6, the future home of F45 Peterborough. Stations and most activities will be indoors while the running segments remain outdoors.
The format alternates 1 km runs with a functional station in the following order:
- 1 km run + 1000 m SkiErg
- 1 km run + 50 m Sled Push
- 1 km run + 50 m Sled Pull
- 1 km run + 80 m Burpee Broad Jumps
- 1 km run + 1000 m Row
- 1 km run + 200 m Farmers Carry
- 1 km run + 100 m Lunges
- 1 km run + 100 Wall Balls
The event uses wave starts with four athletes per wave and is capped at 240 athletes. Entries may be solo or pairs; pairs are allowed to split stations differently than standard HYROX rules and the registering name will appear in online results for pair entries. Each run and station is chip timed and split times are posted live online. Onsite amenities include a DJ, photographer and drone, change rooms, indoor washrooms, a cold plunge area and complimentary cold beer for participants. Photos will be posted free after the event.
