Potential Hyrox Sim in Peterborough

The Potential Hyrox Sim is a high-intensity training event designed to replicate the standard Hyrox race format. Located at Nichol's Oval in Peterborough, this outdoor event features functional stations under a large gazebo and a running course on a paved road closed to vehicle traffic.

The competition consists of eight 1 km runs interspersed with eight functional stations. Participants can enter as solo athletes or as pairs. In the pairs category, partners may divide the stations and runs in any manner they choose.

The sequence of the event is as follows:

  • 1 km Run + 1000m SkiErg
  • 1 km Run + 50m Sled Push
  • 1 km Run + 50m Sled Pull
  • 1 km Run + 80m Burpee Broad Jumps
  • 1 km Run + 1000m Row
  • 1 km Run + 200m Farmers Carry
  • 1 km Run + 100m Lunges
  • 1 km Run + 100 Wall Balls

The event is capped at 336 athletes, with waves of 8 participants starting every 10 minutes. Competitive waves are available for those aiming to finish the course in under 90 minutes.
