Run The Bridges 2026
Run The Bridges 2026 is a road event in Ballina, Killaloe, County Clare that features a 10 km race and a 5 km walk. Both routes pass through the towns and cross the old and new bridges between Ballina and Killaloe. The 10 km race is chip timed and all finishers of the 10 km receive a commemorative medal. The 5 km route is open to adult runners and walkers and also includes both bridges.
Both events are restricted to adults over the age of 16. The event is organised as a fundraiser for Ballina Primary School. Event headquarters is at Ballina Primary School, V94V8X6. The organiser notes that the permit for the event is pending approval. The organiser also notes there will be local support along the route.
