About the race
The Run Tell That 5k Run/Walk is a chip-timed athletic event held in downtown Detroit. The course is open to both runners and walkers. Participants have the opportunity to complete the distance alongside cast members from the television show The Challenge.

The event is held rain or shine. Participants who purchase a ticket receive a commemorative t-shirt and a race medal. Registration is required for individuals aged 14 and older. Children aged 13 and under may participate at no cost, though they do not receive a medal or shirt unless a paid ticket is purchased. The event is limited to 100 participants.
Free on-site parking is available for attendees. A portion of the ticket sales is donated to local Detroit-based nonprofit organizations. Specifically, twenty percent of proceeds are divided between Alternatives for Girls, which supports young women facing homelessness, and All Things Women, Inc., which provides housing and supportive services to families in Michigan. These contributions help fund emergency shelters, prevention programs, and mentoring services. Following the run, a meet and greet session with the cast members is scheduled for participants.
