Run Stanley
Run Stanley is an annual community event held at Stanley Park in Westfield, Massachusetts. The event brings together runners, walkers, people using wheels, and participants with dogs for multiple short-distance activities on park trails and accessible pathways.
The program includes:
- 5K trail run/walk
- 5K K9 trail run/walk
- Munchkin Run hosted by Dunkin’ Donuts
- The Stroll & Roll, a 1-mile wheel friendly non-competitive walk
Prizes are awarded and mailed to winners in several categories, including first place male and female for student and open 5K divisions, first place for 5K K9, and the oldest and youngest 5K finishers. Proceeds from the event support the care and upkeep of the Frank Stanley Beveridge Wildlife Sanctuary, Stanley Park, and its accessible pathways.
Event operations note that T-shirt and bib pickup and late registration are handled at the Children's Pavilion. Volunteers are needed to support the event. The event is presented by Ponders Hollow Custom Wood Flooring and Millwork and organized by Stanley Park of Westfield, Inc.
