Run Seal Beach 5K, 10K & Kids Fun Run
The event is an annual tradition featuring a run and walk through Old Town Seal Beach. It takes place on March 28, 2026. The starting line is at the Seal Beach Community Center (151 Marina Drive, Seal Beach, CA 90740).
The event offers several distances and activities:
- 5K Run
- 10K Run
- 5K Walk
- Kids' 1K Fun Run (for children aged 3-10)
A virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend in person. Runners and walkers with baby strollers are allowed and are requested to line up in the last timing wave. Dogs on a short leash are also permitted. All registered participants receive a t-shirt, though shirt sizes are not guaranteed.
Participants are timed using a chip system for the 5K and 10K runs. Awards are given to the top three finishers in multiple age divisions, as well as special awards for overall event champions. Ribbons are given to all children in the Kids’ 1K Fun Run. A Kids Fun Zone provides supervision for registered children during the adult races.
Packet pickup is available the day before and the morning of the event at the Seal Beach Community Center. If the race is canceled, participants can run virtually, defer their registration, or donate their fee to a community grant program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
