Run Run Ruduck 5K 2025 : The Best Christmas 5K
The Run Run Ruduck event is a 5K held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Leland Light & Water Plant, 101 N Deer Creek Dr W, Leland, MS 38756. The event emphasizes holiday costumes rather than finishing times. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, with judges selecting the top 15 Christmas outfits. Goodr Christmas sunglasses donated by Fountain's Green Grow-cery will be among the awards.
A free Kid's Run/Walk is offered for participants 18 and under. Leland Medical Clinic is providing free registration for students aged 18 and under.
Entry, race services and charity collection
Participants who want a requested T-shirt size must be registered by November 17. Online registration closes on December 5 at 7:45 am. Race Day registration is listed at $30; on-site payments are accepted by cash or check. Atomic Wine and Spirits will provide a water station with water and sports drinks for lead runners and children; additional refreshments described for other participants are noted.
The event is collecting items for the Leland Food Pantry at the registration table. Requested donations include canned soup, chili, tuna, mixed vegetables, pork and beans, spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese, and black beans.
