Event overview
Run Run Ruduck 5K takes place on December 6, 2025 in Leland, Mississippi. The event is a 5K run/walk with the start and finish at Leland Light & Water, 101 N Deer Creek Dr W, Leland, MS 38756. The route goes around Deer Creek. Costume judging is a central feature: winners are chosen by costume rather than by finish time, and the top 15 Christmas costumes will be awarded. Prizes include Goodr Christmas sunglasses donated by Fountain's Green Grow-cery. Atomic Wine and Spirits will provide water and sports drinks near the front of the field, and additional holiday-themed beverages will be available further back in the pack. Registration and event services
T-shirt size requests must be submitted by November 17 to receive the requested size. Online registration closes on December 5 at 7:45 am, and Race Day registration is listed at $30; cash or check are accepted for in-person payment. Leland Medical Clinic is providing free registration for students 18 and under. The event is collecting donations for the Leland Food Pantry; requested items include canned soup, chili, tuna, mixed vegetables, pork and beans, spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese, and black beans.
