Run Ragged Last Person Standing
CT Trailmixers will host a Last Person Standing trail race at Ragged Mountain in Berlin, CT. The event uses a repeated loop format on rugged, hilly, and technical terrain. Runners must complete each loop within one hour; loops repeat until only one runner completes a loop within the allotted time. No late starts on any loop - runners must be in line to begin a loop. No pacers are permitted.
The loop distance is about 3.11 miles (ish). Aid station fare will be available on course, and each runner has space at the start/finish area for one chair and a small cooler. Participants with specific dietary needs are asked to plan accordingly. A runner manual is provided with event details. For night hours, a headlamp with backup batteries is required; a rear-facing light, emergency blanket, and whistle are optional.
Field size is limited to 55 runners. Entry fees are listed as $50 and $40 for CT Trailmixer members. Race day registration will not be available. There are no bib transfers and no refunds. Parking is at the trailhead near 437 West Lane, Berlin, CT 06037.
