Run Ragged Last Person Standing
This event is a last person standing trail race hosted by the CT Trailmixers at Ragged Mountain in Berlin, CT. Runners must complete an approximately 3.11-mile (ish) loop within one hour; the loop repeats each hour until only one runner is able to complete the loop within the allotted time. There are no late starts for any loop; runners must be in line at the loop start to continue.
Field size is limited to 55 runners. Entry fees are listed as $50 and $40 for CT Trailmixers members. Race day registration is not available. Registration closes Fri, May 15 at 11:59 PM ET. No bib transfers and no refunds are permitted.
Trailhead parking is available at 437 West Lane, Berlin, CT 06037. A regular aid station will be provided. Each runner has space for one chair and a small cooler at the start and finish area; participants with specific dietary needs should plan to provide their own supplies. Pacers are not allowed.
Organizers require a headlamp with backup batteries for night hours. A rear-facing light, an emergency blanket and a whistle are listed as optional gear. Race proceeds will support local organizations including the Connecticut Forest & Parks Association and the CT Trailmixers Shoe Scholarship Program.
