Run Port Stephens - Event overview
Run Port Stephens is a coastal running festival set against the foreshore and parklands of Nelson Bay. The courses combine waterfront views with shaded forest trails and include some elevation. The route layout uses out-and-back sections and multiple laps for longer distances. The event notes that a swim at Nelson Bay Beach is a common way for participants to recover after racing. Entry options have used a pin-free bib system by 2026 to reduce waste.
The event reported 1,430 runners in the previous year and has been held since 2022. Merchandise is available as event bling. The organisers present multiple race distances to accommodate different race formats.
Race distances
- Marathon - three-lap out-and-back showcasing waterfront and shaded forest trails.
