Run Port Douglas
Run Port Douglas is a road running event in Port Douglas, Tropical North Queensland, scheduled for Saturday 5 September 2026. Courses pass through the town of Port Douglas and all distances finish with a run or walk along the sands of Four Mile Beach.
The event offers multiple timed distances:
- 2 km run/walk
- 5 km run
- 10 km run
- 21.1 km half marathon
All distances will be timed. Competitors in the 21.1 km half marathon and the 10 km receive a free run singlet. The finish line is located on Four Mile Beach and courses take participants through the town before the beach finish.
Local experiences noted in conjunction with the event include Quicksilver Cruises to the Great Barrier Reef, Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures, Wildlife Habitat koala encounters, guided walks through Mossman Gorge in the Daintree Rainforest, sunset hospitality at the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Port Douglas, and the Port Douglas Sunday Markets.
The event acknowledges the Australian Aboriginal People and Torres Strait Islander People as the first inhabitants and the Traditional Owners of the lands on which Run Port Douglas takes place, and pays respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
