Run Port Douglas
Run Port Douglas takes place on Saturday 5 September 2026 in Port Douglas, Tropical North Queensland. The event offers multiple timed distances that run through the town and finish with a run or walk along the sands of Four Mile Beach.
The distances offered are:
- 2 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21.1 km Half Marathon
All distances are timed. Courses pass through the town of Port Douglas and conclude on Four Mile Beach. Participants may stop for photos, take part with family and friends, and there are prizes for costume entries.
A free run singlet is provided for all 21.1 km Half Marathon and 10 km race competitors.
The event sits within a wider visitor area with local experiences such as snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, crocodile viewing at Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures, koala encounters at Wildlife Habitat, guided walks in the Daintree Rainforest and Mossman Gorge, and the Port Douglas Sunday Markets.
Organisers acknowledge the Australian Aboriginal People and Torres Strait Islander People as the first inhabitants and the Traditional Owners of the lands where Run Port Douglas takes place, and pay respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
