Event Overview
This is the fourth annual Run Out of the Darkness event. The primary beneficiary is NAMI Bucks County, the local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. The event is sponsored by the Perkasie Rotary Club and the Free Will Brewing Company.
Race Details
The event takes place on Sunday, August 30, 2026. The start and finish location is at the baseball fields in Lenape Park on West Walnut Street in Perkasie, Pennsylvania. Two distances are offered:
- A 5K loop within the park.
- A 10K, which consists of two loops of the same course.
Participants are free to decide their final distance after completing the first loop. Anyone entering the finish chute after one loop will be recorded as a 5K participant. Walkers are encouraged to participate but are limited to the 5K distance.
Participant Information
All registered runners receive a short sleeve technical shirt. Participants aged 21 and over will receive a coupon for a free beer. The Free Will Brewing Company, located at 411 E. Walnut Street (less than half a mile from the start), will open early at 10:30 AM for participants. Ample parking is available at the baseball fields.
