About the race
The Run or Wine Series is a set of road races in Woodinville, Washington that pairs a timed run or walk with post-race tasting options at nearby wineries, breweries, and cider locations. The series offers two distances and multiple event dates: 9/27/26, 12/6/26, and 2/28/27. Races use start/finish locations near the Sammamish River Trail and the Northshore Athletic Fields, with routes heading north toward Bothell on a paved trail. Registrations are capped for safety.
Each participant receives a race bib with timing chip and two drink tickets attached to the bib; tickets are valid only on the race date and cannot be transferred from prior races. Packet pickup requires age verification and cannot be completed on behalf of another person. Shirts are available and registering by 9/6/26 guarantees shirt and size; shirts may involve an additional cost.
Additional included items are a custom wooden finisher medal made from reclaimed wood, professional race photos, finish line goodies, and other swag while supplies last. Drink tickets can be redeemed at participating locations for a tasting flight or a pint; typical winery flights consist of four to six tastings. The event notes that organizers and participating locations may refuse service or race entry if a participant is intoxicated.
