Run of the Ox : Mantua, Ohio

Run of the Ox is an annual community event held at St Joseph Church in Mantua, Ohio on Saturday, July 18, 2026. The event features a 5 km run and a 1 mile walk as part of the Ox Roast Fair activities. Proceeds benefit St Joseph's Church charitable programs.

The 5 km is a timed race with live results and awards for top finishers. Participants receive an event shirt and post-run refreshments are provided. The Ox Roast Fair midway opens in the afternoon on the same day.

Award categories include top three overall finishers and top three finishers in the following age groups: 11 and under, 12 to 15, 16 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, and 60 and over.
