Run of the Mill - McDonald
The Run of the Mill is a one-mile road race held on June 24, 2026, on Ohio Avenue in McDonald, Ohio. The event takes place prior to the McDonald Homecoming Festival Parade and supports the McDonald High School Track and Cross Country teams.
The course starts at Holiday Hot Tubs and proceeds down Ohio Avenue through the center of McDonald to the McDonald Steel Mill bridge. Entry fee is $25. Online registration opens May 20 and closes at noon on June 24. Same-day registration is available between 4 and 5 pm in the Holiday Hot Tubs parking lot. Registrants who register by June 9 receive a T-shirt with their registration.
Awards are given by age group and overall. There are three awards in each age group for male and female competitors in these divisions: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-44, and 45 and over. Prizes for overall finishers include $100 for the male and female overall winners and $50 for the male and female runners-up. Additional prizes are awarded to the youngest and oldest finishers.
