Run of the Mill - McDonald
The Run of the Mill in McDonald, Ohio is a community one mile road race held on June 24, 2026, prior to the McDonald Homecoming Festival Parade. The event supports the McDonald High School Track and Cross Country teams and takes place along Ohio Avenue in McDonald, OH.
The course starts at Holiday Hot Tubs and proceeds down Ohio Avenue to the McDonald Steel Mill bridge, passing through the center of McDonald. The distance for the race is 1 mile.
Online registration opens May 15 and closes at noon on June 24. Same day registration is available in the Holiday Hot Tubs parking lot between 4 and 5 pm. The registration fee is $25. Participants who register by June 9 receive a T shirt with their race registration.
Awards are given in each male and female age group: 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-34, 35-49, and 50 & over. Prizes for overall winners are $100 each for male and female, and runner up prizes are $50 each. Additional recognition is provided for the youngest and oldest finishers.
