Run of Hope Seattle
Run of Hope Seattle is the 18th annual event held at Seward Park in Seattle on September 20, 2026. The event raises money and awareness for pediatric cancer research at Seattle Children's, including work connected to the Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research.
The program features multiple participation options:
- 5K Run, medals for top finishers in male and female age categories
- 3K Walk, registered walkers are not eligible for 5K race awards
- Kids Dash, for children 8 and under; entry includes a t-shirt and awards
- Virtual 5K Run/Walk, participants choose a course and submit a time; results are merged with the running field
Medals and awards are offered for race categories in the in-person 5K, and the Kids Dash includes prizes and a participant t-shirt. The Virtual 5K allows remote participation and is administered so virtual results are combined with the in-person running field, though virtual entrants are not eligible for certain age-group awards.
The event location is listed as Seward Park, 5900 Lake Washington Boulevard S, Seattle, WA 98118. The overall focus is on supporting pediatric cancer research through fundraising and community participation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
