Run Nottinghamshire Sherwood Pines Half Marathon 2027
The event takes place on 9th May 2027 at Sherwood Pines, Nottinghamshire’s largest woodland park. The route is a fully marked Half Marathon on traffic free forest trails through pine woodland.
The course follows well maintained forest paths with gentle undulations and a trail surface. It is chip timed by Timing4Sport and includes distance markers every 1 km and water stations every 5 km. Minimum age to enter is 17.
Entries are limited to 500. Affiliated entry fee is £25.00 and unaffiliated entry fee is £27.00; entries close on 8th May 2027 and on the day entry carries an additional £5 fee. An optional race T shirt is available for pre order and collection on the day.
Race HQ is at Sherwood Pines with registration at NG21 9JL Kings Clipstone, Nottingham and registration open from 08:30 to 09:30 on the event day. Facilities listed for the event include bag drop at Race HQ, toilets, changing, parking, first aid, distance catering and marshals.
Finishers receive a medal and snacks. Individual prizes are awarded for 1st to 3rd male and female overall, with age group prizes in five year bands for W35+ and M40+ provided a minimum of five runners per band. Team prizes are for UKA affiliated clubs and require club vests. Prize details include performance bonuses and a reward for new race or course records.
