Run Northumberland Coquet Half Marathon 2026
The Run Northumberland Coquet Half Marathon takes place on 5th July 2026 in Rothbury. The road course runs up and down the Coquet Valley, starting and finishing in Rothbury, and is described as hilly which increases the scenic views. The route is accurately measured and chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport. The event is open to runners aged 17 and over. Entry is limited to 800 places and entries close on 30th June 2026. Entry fees are listed as £27.00 for affiliated runners and £29.00 for unaffiliated runners. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and an optional race T-shirt is available at extra cost.
Race headquarters and registration are at Dr Tomlinson C of E Middle School, Rothbury, with registration open on race day from 8am to 9am. Facilities include bag drop at registration, toilets at registration and the finish, and parking at the Auction Mart or a car park near the finish. The course is on traffic-free road surfaces with distance markers every mile and water stations at mile 3, 6 and 9. Prize awards include trophies and vouchers for the top overall male and female finishers and team prizes for UKA affiliated clubs. A guideline cut-off time for the half marathon is three hours.
