Run Northumberland Coquet Half Marathon, Rothbury, 5 July 2026
The Run Nation Coquet Half Marathon is held on roads through the Coquet Valley, starting and finishing in the town of Rothbury. The course is accurately measured and described as hilly, with road surface and traffic free running in race sections.
Chip timing is provided by Timing4Sport and finishers receive a bespoke medal. An optional race T-shirt is available at extra cost. The event operates under UK Athletics rules and has a minimum age of 17.
Event facilities include race headquarters and registration at Dr Tomlinson C of E Middle School, bag drop at registration, toilets at registration and the finish, and first aid. Water stations are located at 3, 6 and 9 miles and distance markers appear every mile. Parking is available at the Auction Mart or a car park near the finish. Entries are limited to 800 and the closing date for entries is 30 June 2026; on the day entries cannot be guaranteed.
Prizes are awarded to individual overall finishers and to teams from UKA affiliated clubs, with club scoring based on the first three eligible finishers and requiring official club vests to count.
