Run Nation's Run Northumberland Coquet Half Marathon takes place on 5 July 2026 in Rothbury, Northumberland. The distance is Half-Marathon on a road course that runs up and down the Coquet Valley. The route is accurately measured and uses chip timing provided by Timing4Sport. The race both starts and finishes in the town of Rothbury. Logistics and services
Race headquarters and registration are at Dr Tomlinson C of E Middle School, Rothbury, NE65 7RD. Registration includes a bag drop and is the location for toilets; there are also toilets at the finish. Parking is available at the Auction Mart or a car park near the finish. Water is provided at Mile 3, Mile 6 and Mile 9, and there are distance markers every mile. First aid is provided and finishers receive a bespoke medal. An optional race T-shirt is available for an extra cost.
Entries and prizes
Affiliated entry fee is £27.00 and unaffiliated entry is £29.00. Entries close on 30 June 2026 and are limited to 800. Individual prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, with a trophy and a voucher for the first place, and vouchers for second and third. Team prizes are awarded to UKA-affiliated clubs based on the positions of the first three runners; runners must wear official club vests to count.
