Run Nona 5K & Nemours Children's Run : Lake Nona Town Center
Run Nona is a community race held on September 19, 2026 at Lake Nona Town Center, 6941 Lake Nona Blvd, Orlando, FL. The event offers a chip timed 5K with B-Tag timing and a Nemours Children's Run for younger participants. Event amenities include a tech shirt and finisher medal for the 5K and a shirt and medal for the children’s run. The race concludes with a block party featuring live music and food near the Beacon.

The Nemours Children's Zone provides family activities such as face painting, a balloon artist, and an ice cream truck. A team challenge recognizes the organization with the largest team (minimum 15 participants) with a $500 donation to a registered 501(c)(3) charity. Accessibility provisions note that wheelchair athletes may compete in push-rim or handcycle categories; push-rim competitors are eligible for awards while handcycle athletes compete in an exhibition category and must remain behind the lead cyclist. Wheelchair athletes must wear a helmet.
Registration is available for in-person and virtual participation. Entry fees vary by registration period and age discounts apply for youth and seniors; all fees are non-refundable. Bib swaps are prohibited; transfers to a new participant are allowed for a fee prior to bib pickup. Participants must be able to maintain a 15 minute per mile pace to remain on course.
