Run Nona 5K & Nemours Children's Run
Run Nona takes place at Lake Nona Town Center in Orlando with a chip-timed 5K and a Nemours Children's Run for young participants. The Kids' Run is recommended for children 12 and under and includes age-appropriate distances from 100 yards up to 1 mile.
Event features include a finisher medal and a tech T-shirt. The 5K uses a B-Tag timing system attached to the bib. Awards cover top overall finishers, a top nonbinary/genderqueer finisher, masters, a push-rim wheelchair division, age-group top three placements, and awards for Lake Nona residents who indicate their eligibility during registration.
A family-oriented Kids Zone offers face painting, a balloon artist, and an ice cream truck. The race finishes at a block party with live music. A Team Challenge recognizes the group with the most participants with a $500 donation to a registered 501(c)(3) charity when the team meets the minimum size requirement.
Track Shack provides bib pickup at its store prior to race day and also offers packet shipping for domestic addresses. Entry options include in-person and virtual participation. Race policies note that entries are non-refundable, bib swapping is prohibited, transfers incur a fee, and wheelchair athletes must wear a helmet.
