The Run Media City Christmas 5K & 10K takes place on Saturday 19th December 2026 at MediaCity UK, Salford (Arrive M50 2NT, UK). The event was booked 110 times in the last month. Course and logistics

The course starts and finishes in the centre of Media City and follows a 2.5 km loop. The 5K is two laps and the 10K is four laps around that loop. The route runs over the canal and passes the Imperial War Museum and the ITV and BBC television studios. The course follows paths and pavements inside the centre of Media City and is not a closed road race. Each kilometre will be accurately marked and event staff and helpers will be present along the route. The organiser describes the course as flat.
