Run Like the Wind 5K / 2K / Dog Jog : Allenspark, CO
Run Like the Wind is the 14th annual running event hosted by The Old Gallery in Allenspark, Colorado on Saturday, August 29, 2026. The event takes place at 14863 CO Hwy 7 in Allenspark and includes a timed 5K and a non-competitive 2K walk/fun run.

The 5K course starts and finishes in downtown Allenspark and includes views of Mount Meeker and the Continental Divide. Dogs may join either event for an additional $5 and are automatically entered in the amateur dog show that follows.
Registration opens on March 15, 2026 and closes on August 1, 2026 for advance entries; race-day online registration is available on the morning of the event. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $35 for the 5K and $20 for the 2K.
