Run Like the Wind
The Run Like the Wind event takes place in Allenspark during Labor Day weekend. This annual community gathering is hosted by the Old Gallery and features multiple participation options centered around the downtown area. Participants can observe views of Mount Meeker and the Continental Divide throughout the course.

- 5k Run
- 2k Walk / Fun Run
The 5k is a competitive race that starts and finishes in the downtown district. The 2k is organized as a non-competitive walk and fun run. Both distances are open to canine companions for an additional fee. Dogs that participate in either distance are automatically entered into an amateur dog show held after the conclusion of the runs.
Proceeds from the registration fees support the Old Gallery, an organization focused on providing resources and community opportunities within the mountain regions. Registration typically opens in mid-March with tiered pricing available for those who sign up before the end of July. The event relies on local volunteers to manage operations on race day.
