Run in the Sun - San Angelo
Run in the Sun is an annual road race in San Angelo, Texas, held at 19 E. Concho Avenue in historic downtown. The event is run on a certified course and is the longest-running race in San Angelo. Races allow running or walking and include timed and untimed options.
Distances:
- 1 Mile Untimed fun run; medal included; shirt not included.
- 5K Chip timed; follows the river walk and turns back earlier than the 8K.
- 8K Chip timed; certified course that continues farther along the river walk.
The course starts and finishes on E. Concho Avenue across the street from Miss Hattie's, proceeds down Concho Avenue, turns onto Irving, and continues along the river walk in downtown San Angelo.
