Run Hustle Run Mother's Day 5K QDR 2027
This street 5K is centered at The Hustle Barbershop, 135-22 Hillside Ave., Richmond Hill, NY. Registration will open ahead of the event date. The race is organized by the Run Hustle Run community, a group that began at The Hustle Barbershop and runs regularly in Queens.
The course starts at Hillside Avenue & 136th Street and follows an out and back loop along Kew Gardens Road to Lefferts Boulevard. The loop measures 1.55 mile and is completed twice for the full 5K. The route includes a gradual uphill section on Kew Gardens Road that becomes more demanding on the second loop. The course uses NYPD supported street closures, with volunteers, cones, and course marshals to guide participants. Walkers must remain on the far right side of the roadway at all times to allow runners on their second loop to pass safely.
Amenities include live text and email results, free finish line photos, a Run Hustle Run race shirt, and a personalized bib for those who register three weeks in advance. Bib pickup is available from event staff before the event; a bib number is required for pickup. Last minute registrants within 24 hours will receive their bib number by text.
