Run Hustle Run Mother's Day 5K QDR 2027
Run Hustle Run Mother's Day 5K is a community road race based in Richmond Hill, Queens, centered on a running group that began at The Hustle Barbershop. The event reflects a local running movement focused on regular group runs and community building.
The course starts at Hillside Avenue and 136th Street and follows an out-and-back loop along Kew Gardens Road to Lefferts Boulevard. The route is a 1.55-mile loop completed twice for a full 5K and includes a gradual uphill section on Kew Gardens Road that becomes more pronounced on the second loop. NYPD-supported street closures, volunteers, cones, and course marshals provide on-course guidance.
Walkers must remain on the far right side of the roadway at all times to allow runners to pass on their second loop and to keep the course flowing.
Event amenities include live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, a race shirt, and a personalized bib for those registered at least three weeks in advance. Awards are given to the top three M/F/X finishers in these age categories: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus.
Bib pickup is handled by event staff starting one hour before the event. A bib number is required for pickup; registrants within 24 hours of the event can receive their bib number by text within about 90 seconds. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
