Accessibility information notes that buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome, and dogs are not permitted to run; dogs may be present in the event village if kept on a lead. Parking options include pay and display parking a short walk from the start and multiple park entrances with nearby postcodes. Public transport access is available via Metrolink Park and Ride services and a number of local bus routes that serve Heaton Park.
