About the race
Run for Your Life is an annual charity fun run, walk, and community fair organized by students of Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) on the PNWU campus in Yakima. The event is presented as a health-focused community gathering that supports PNWU scholarships for students from rural and medically underserved areas.
The course is described as flat and easy and intended to be accessible to all ages. The event includes family-oriented activities and a short race created specifically for young children. Food vendors may participate. Parking is available in the North and Northeast lot of Butler Haney Hall.
Event details:
- 5k for ages 12 and older, registration fee $30
- 10k for ages 12 and older, registration fee $35
- 5k for ages 11 and under, no registration fee
- 10k for ages 11 and under, no registration fee
- 100 m Pony Race for ages 11 and under, no registration fee
