17th Annual Urban Trail Run
The Run for Your Life 5K and 1 Mile Urban Trail Run is an annual event held in Pineville, Louisiana. The 2026 edition marks the 17th year of this competition, which takes place at the Forts Randolph & Buhlow State Historic Site. The event proceeds benefit St. Jude.
Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5k
- 1 Mile
The event features several age divisions for both male and female participants, ranging from those aged 9 and under up to 75 and over. Cash awards are provided for the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5k, as well as for the top Masters and Grand Masters. Additionally, prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each specific age division.
Registration is available in advance, with price increases occurring as the race date approaches. Early packet pick-up is organized on the Friday before the race at Lagniappe Homecare in Alexandria. Alternatively, participants may collect their packets on the morning of the event at the historic site in Pineville. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
