Charity, registration and logistics

This race is the signature fundraiser for the Edgecombe Cancer Support Foundation. One hundred percent of race proceeds are directed to local cancer patients and are administered by volunteers. Packet pickup is at Tarboro Brewing Company on Friday, October 24 (5:00–8:00 PM) and Saturday, October 25 (7:00–8:30 AM). Online registration closes October 23, 2025 at 11:59 PM; in-person registration is available at packet pickup with a $5 cost increase. Listed event prices are $40 for the 5K and $25 for the Fun Run; a $5 increase applies after online registration closes. Key deadlines include sponsor and T-shirt size guarantee by September 15, 2025, and memorial/honor sign purchases through September 30, 2025. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top two male and female finishers in standard age groups.
