The Run for Women raises funds for women’s mental health programs at Stella's Circle, specifically the Naomi Centre and the Just Us Women's Centre. Funds sustain a shared Peer Support Worker who provides nearly 2,000 hours of direct mental health support per year. This support is ongoing and relationship based.
Support activities include one-on-one counselling and emotional support, group programs focused on healing and resilience, outreach to women in custody and assistance with reintegration, advocacy and system navigation including accompaniment to court, and community-building through shared meals, walking groups, and safe spaces.
