Shoppers Drug Mart Run for Women - Edmonton 2027
The event takes place on May 22, 2027 at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park in Edmonton, AB (13221 Buena Vista Rd NW). It is a run and walk that raises funds for women’s mental health initiatives at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women. To date CA$342.17 has been raised toward a CA$50,000 goal, and 133 participants are registered.

Funds support clinical programs and research focused on anxiety and depression in women. The event’s fundraising has supported the Hope perinatal anxiety and depression e-therapy platform, which has helped nearly 3,500 women in Northern Alberta and across the country. The Lois Hole Hospital for Women provides specialized care for women of all ages and is described as Alberta’s only dedicated women’s hospital.
