Run for Water Trail Race - Sumas Mountain
The Run for Water Trail Race is scheduled for Saturday, June 5, 2027, at 37797 Taggart Rd, Abbotsford, BC, on Sumas Mountain. The area offers vistas of the Fraser River and the Fraser Valley.
Distances offered:
- 50 km, nearly 3000 m elevation gain, technical single-track
- 25 km, nearly 1500 m elevation gain, technical single-track
- 10 km, 500 m elevation gain, technical trail
The course uses rugged, technical single-track with roots, rocks, mud and flowing trail sections through BC rain forest. The 25 km and 50 km routes reach the two highest peaks in Sumas Mountain Regional Park.
Full payment is due at registration and is non-refundable. Participants may switch to a shorter distance at no cost, subject to availability, if the organizer is notified one week before the race. Deferral to the following year and bib transfers are not offered. Donations or fundraising above the race entry fee are tax deductible.
Early package pickup is available Friday, May 29 from 2:30 to 5:30 PM, location to be confirmed. Race day packages are available at the start and finish area. Participants are advised to arrive 30 to 60 minutes before their event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
