Run for the Violets 5K
The Run for the Violets 5K takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Dolgeville, New York. The event is centered at 20 South Helmer Ave., Dolgeville, NY 13329, and includes both a 5K and a separate kids fun run.

Registration is online only; race day registration will be available across from the Dolgeville Fire Department at 20 South Helmer Ave. The t-shirt cut-off date is May 1, and sizes requested after that date are not guaranteed. A group discount of $3 off applies when registering three or more participants for the 5K. About half of the 5K course is on the Greenway Trail. The event carries USATF number NY24005JG.
Awards are given for Top Overall Male and Female in both walk and run categories, Top Local Male and Female for residents of the Village of Dolgeville or Town of Manheim, and for age-group divisions: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over.
