Event
The Beer and Chili Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Newport, New York (Bridge Street, 13416). It is organized by the Kuyahoora Kicker Running Club and is the 42nd running of the event. The event offers these distances:
- 5K
- 10K
Participants start together from the bridge; walkers, 5K runners and 10K runners launch at the same time. A water station is located at the 5K turnaround. Medals will be awarded to the top male and top female in both the 5K and the 10K. A post-run party will be held at the Masonic Temple.
Logistics
Day-of registration and shirt pickup are handled at the Masonic Temple in Newport. Long sleeve cotton shirts are available for purchase through RunSignUp; shirts will be delivered on the day of the event only for those who register by the stated cutoff. No shirts will be ordered after the event. Registration for the listed events closes on February 6, 2026. The event is partially dog friendly: dogs may run or walk if kept toward the back of the pack, but dogs are not allowed in the Temple party.
