Run for the STARS 2026 : Wheaton, Illinois
Run for the STARS is scheduled for September 19, 2026 in Wheaton, Illinois, hosted by College Church at 332 E. Seminary Ave. The event has been held for 23 years with a focus on bringing people together to celebrate and support those with disabilities and their families.
Participants in the church's disability ministry are called STARS, an acronym for Seeking To Always Reflect the Savior. The event directs 100% of proceeds to support the STARS community. Funds provide scholarships for STARS to attend retreats or summer camps, and a grant supports STARS Family Services, which provides job coaching.
The event includes multiple short-distance runs and community activities on an all-new course route through the tree-lined streets of Wheaton.

- 50 yards (Kids Dash, 7 years old and under)
- 50 yards (STARS Dash)
Registration and fees:
- 5K registration opens June 10, 2026 and closes August 1, 2026; fee $30.
- Kids Dash registration opens June 10, 2026 and closes September 17, 2026; fee $12.
- STARS Dash registration opens June 10, 2026 and closes September 16, 2026; fee $12.
